    Coal Scam Case LIVE: Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court has awarded 3 years imprisonment to former Coal Secretary HC Gupta in a coal scam case of irregularities in the allocation of a Maharashtra coal block to a Nagpur-based private company. The court also awarded two year imprisonment to former joint-Secretary in the Ministry of Coal, KS Kropha - both were convicted by the court last week. The court also awarded four years jail term to Mukesh Gupta, Director of the private company in this matter.

    China finds more COVID cases after locking down beach resort

    Another 259 COVID-19 cases have been reported in the southern Chinese island province of Hainan, where some 80,000 tourists have been stranded by pandemic restrictions.
