NEW DELHI: Mining stocks were trading higher on Monday at 10:35AM

20 Microns(up 4.58%), NMDC Ltd(up 2.16%), Dvpt Corporation(up 1.92%), Aro Granite Industries(up 1.47%), Madhav Marbles and Granites(up 1.08%), Pokarna(up 1.03%), Oriental Trimex(up 0.96%), MOIL(up 0.90%), Orissa Minerals Development Company(up 0.63%) and Coal India(up 0.31%) were among the top gainers.

KIOCL(down 0.20%) and Ashapura Minechem(down 0.05%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 58.95 points up at 17456.45, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 242.18 points at 58630.11 at around 10:35AM.

Mahindra & Mahindra(up 2.22%), HDFC Bank(up 1.85%), IndusInd Bank(up 1.8%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.8%), Axis Bank(up 1.61%), Larsen & Toubro(up 1.48%), NTPC(up 1.38%), Bajaj Finserv(up 1.36%), Reliance Industries(up 1.29%) and Enterprises(up 1.16%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 3.83%), State Bank of India(down 2.46%), Britannia Industries(down 0.94%), Cipla(down 0.86%), Infosys(down 0.85%), UltraTech Cement(down 0.81%), Divis Laboratories(down 0.78%), Wipro(down 0.77%), Tata Consultancy(down 0.71%) and Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 0.66%) were trading in the red.
