Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Monday at 11:01AM

& Petrochemicals(up 4.46%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 3.20%), Aries Agro(up 2.72%), & Chemicals(up 2.55%), G S F C(up 2.18%), Sikko Industries(up 1.42%), Madras Fertlizers(up 1.25%), Coromandel International(up 1.08%), ZUARIAGRO(up 0.51%) and Fertilizers (up 0.38%) were among the top gainers.

Agro Phos(down 5.80%), & Fertilizers(down 2.44%), & Fertilizers(down 1.41%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 1.22%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 1.18%), & Fertilizers(down 1.09%), National Fertilizer(down 0.89%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 0.28%) and KRISHANA(down 0.12%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 70.05 points up at 17467.55, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 285.05 points at 58672.98 at around 11:01AM.

Mahindra & Mahindra(up 2.35%), NTPC(up 2.31%), HDFC Bank(up 2.24%), Hindalco Industries(up 2.02%), HDFC(up 1.75%), IndusInd Bank(up 1.61%), Axis Bank(up 1.55%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 1.4%), Enterprises(up 1.37%) and Bajaj Finserv(up 1.36%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 3.91%), State Bank of India(down 2.46%), Britannia Industries(down 1.36%), Hero MotoCorp(down 1.27%), Infosys(down 0.97%), UltraTech Cement(down 0.92%), Shree Cement(down 0.85%), Cipla(down 0.75%), Wipro(down 0.7%) and Tata Consultancy(down 0.66%) were trading in the red.
