Shares of Brigade Enterprises(up 0.85 per cent), DLF(up 0.68 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 0.55 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(up 0.28 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Godrej Properties(down 0.52 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(down 0.42 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.23 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(down 0.15 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.16 per cent up at 438.6.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 127.6 points at 17525.1, while the BSE Sensex stood up 465.14 points at 58853.07.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 32 ended in the green, while 17 closed in the red.
Shares of Zomato Ltd., YES Bank, JP Power, and were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Ltd., Cool Caps Industries Ltd., , CSL Finance and hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Zensar Tech, , Birla Tyres, and hit their fresh 52-week lows.
