
NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 465.14 points up at 58853.07 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, K&R Rail Engineering(down 16.09 per cent), Add-Shop E-Retail(down 14.34 per cent), Kiran Vyapar(down 11.35 per cent), Sri Nachammai(down 10.19 per cent) and RMC Switchgears(down 9.96 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 32 stocks closed in the green, while 17 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 127.6 points up at 17525.1.
On the BSE, , , , and hit their fresh 52-week lows, while D & H India, , , and touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
