Madras Fertlizers(up 9.60%), & Petrochemicals(up 5.00%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 4.73%), G S F C(up 3.09%), & Chemicals(up 2.58%), Aries Agro(up 1.71%), Fertilizers (up 0.19%), KRISHANA(up 0.03%) and Coromandel International(up 0.02%) stood among the top gainers.
& Fertilizers(down 3.91%), Agro Phos(down 3.87%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 2.89%), & Fertilizers(down 2.50%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 2.35%), Sikko Industries(down 1.42%), & Fertilizers(down 1.20%), ZUARIAGRO(down 0.75%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 0.56%) and Rama Phosphates(down 0.46%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 127.6 points up at 17525.1, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 465.14 points at 58853.07.
Coal India(up 3.33%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 3.3%), Bajaj Finserv(up 2.95%), Hindalco Industries(up 2.58%), HDFC Bank(up 2.45%), NTPC(up 2.44%), Larsen & Toubro(up 2.36%), Axis Bank(up 2.34%), HDFC(up 1.63%) and Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 1.6%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 3.2%), State Bank of India(down 2.01%), Britannia Industries(down 1.54%), UltraTech Cement(down 1.44%), Nestle India(down 1.35%), Hero MotoCorp(down 1.18%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 1.06%), Wipro(down 0.94%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.78%) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 0.61%) closed in the red.
