Getty ImagesNEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Monday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Prakash Steel(14.64%), Lykis Ltd(13.8%), D & H India(13.59%), CFSL Ltd.(13.45%), Talbros Engineering(13.42%), Rushil Decor(12.75%), Jagran Prakashan(12.6%), Generic Pharmasec(12.5%), Sundaram Multi(12.31%) and Ltd.(12.18%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 255.05 points up at 58642.98, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 62.85 points to 17460.35.
In the Nifty 50 index, 25 stocks traded in the green, while 24 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Yug Decor, D & H India, , and hit their fresh 52-week high, while , ., , Ltd. and touched their new 52-week low in trade.
