Assam: Elephant stuck in mud rescued, receives treatment in Nagaon

In an unfortunate incident in Assam, a female elephant was left stuck in the mud on August 07 in Nagaon. The stuck mammal was found near a tea estate and the Forest Range Officer was informed about it. The elephant has been recused and is being treated by the doctors of the Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation, Kaziranga.
