Pune: Man arrested for flashing and stalking pupil

PUNE: The Kondhwa police on Friday arrested a small-time businessman (38) on charges of flashing and stalking a 22-year-old college student between 8am and 2pm on August 3.
In her complaint, the student has accused the suspect of flashing her while she was on her way to college. She also accused the suspect of stalking her at the college gate.
Assistant inspector Harshada Dagade said, "The student mentioned the registration number of the suspect's motorcycle. A police team traced his residential address and took him into custody. During questioning, he denied of flashing or stalking the student. A CCTV footage at the college shows the suspect peeping inside the institute campus from the main gate," she said.
An FIR under sections 354 (molestation), 354 (a) (sexual harassment) and 354 (d) (stalking) of the Indian Penal Code was registered against him.
