Power tariff hike in Tamil Nadu: Public hearing dates announced

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission will hold public hearings on the latest power tariff hike.
In Coimbatore, public hearing will be held in SNR College auditorium on August 16.
In Madurai, it will be held at the Lakshmi Sundaram hall in Thallakulam area on August 18.
In Chennai, it will be held at the Kalaivanar Arangam on August 22.
The hearing will commence at 10am. Residents are requested to register their names between 9am and 10am in the said venues.
