Mumbai-bound Vistara flight returns to Varanasi after bird hit

A Mumbai-bound Vistara flight returned to Varanasi after it suffered a bird hit, aviation regulator DGCA said. Vistara A320 aircraft VT-TNC operating flight UK622 (Varanasi-Mumbai) was involved in an air turn back to Varanasi due to a bird hit. The aircraft has landed safely in Varanasi with and the radome is damaged. It has been declared aircraft on ground (AOG), the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said. (IANS)

Mumbai to get 330 public charging stations in six months: BEST GM

The BEST on Friday announced that it has given the go-ahead for setting up 330 public charging stations in Mumbai. The announcement was made on a day when heavy industries secretary Arun Goel was on an official visit to Mumbai to review the e-bus projects in Mumbai and neighbouring cities. Six charging stations will be set up in each of the 27 bus depots across the island city and suburbs, said BEST general manager Lokesh Chandra. “We plan to have the charging stations at 55 locations, including some of our bus stations.
