Equity benchmark Sensex ended the session up 89.13 points at 58387.93.
The top gainers included ASM Tech(up 10.0%), Somi Conveyor(up 10.0%), .(up 10.0%), Tricom Fruit(up 10.0%), Cosmo Ferrites(up 9.99%), Creative Eye(up 9.98%), Delta Manufacturing(up 9.98%), (up 9.98%), Asit C Mehta(up 9.97%) and Moschip Tech(up 9.97%) which surged over 5% in today's trade.
In the Nifty 50 index, stocks such as Cem.(up 2.84%), Shree Cements(up 2.66%), ICICI Bank(up 2.19%), UPL (up 1.60%) and Bharti Airtel(up 1.35%) were among the top gainers.
The Nifty 50 index ended 15.5 points up at 17397.50.
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 28 shares ended in the green, while 22 closed in the red.
