Belgian tests negative for monkeypox in Karnataka

BENGALURU: A Belgian national who was suspected to have monkeypox in Uttara Kannada has tested negative.
District health officer Sharad Naik told TOI the person tested negative on Wednesday evening. Health department officials said the sample was sent for testing to the lab at Bangalore Medical College. This was the third suspected case in the state, after two in Bengaluru. So far, no one has tested positive.
