GU to hold additional admission round for commerce, arts
The university which is currently conducting the third round of admissions in commerce announced that the students who have cleared their Class 12 supplementary exams or the students who have not got admitted during the third round will be able to apply in the additional round.
Representative Image. AHMADABAD: The Gujarat University will hold an extra round of admissions in commerce courses to accommodate students who cleared Class 12 supplementary exams. The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) on Thursday announced the results of Class 12 supplementary exams.
The university which is currently conducting the third round of admissions in commerce announced that the students who have cleared their Class 12 supplementary exams or the students who have not got admitted during the third round will be able to apply in the additional round. Students will be able to register themselves starting from August 5 and the last date to apply will be August 11.
Sources in the university said that the students who had registered but did not get admissions in the third round will have to register themselves again in this round. Students will have to submit physical copies of the forms to the respective colleges during August 17 to 24. The university will announce the merit list for this additional round on August 24 and after that to confirm their admissions the students will have to submit their original documents and pay fees on August 24 and 25. The university will announce the vacant seats on August 26.
Similarly, the university will hold an additional round of admissions starting from August 7 for the students who wish to get admitted in arts colleges.
