The NSE Nifty index traded 62.6 points up at 17444.6, while BSE Sensex was up 249.97 points at 58548.77 as of 11:00AM(IST)on August 05.
In the Nifty index, .(up 2.46 per cent), .(up 1.98 per cent), .(up 1.70 per cent), .(up 1.46 per cent) and .(up 1.45 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, .(down 1.22 per cent), .(down 1.08 per cent), .(down 0.82 per cent), .(down 0.79 per cent) and .(down 0.71 per cent) were among the top losers.
