Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Friday at 10:24AM

Agro Phos(up 5.62%), & Fertilizers(up 2.07%), Coromandel International(up 1.84%), KRISHANA(up 1.44%), & Chemicals(up 1.08%), & Fertilizers(up 0.88%), Fertilizers(up 0.71%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 0.57%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 0.47%) and ZUARIAGRO(up 0.24%) were among the top gainers.

& Fertilizers(down 2.06%), National Fertilizer(down 1.46%), & Petrochemicals(down 1.38%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 0.73%), Madras Fertlizers(down 0.72%), Aries Agro(down 0.61%), Sikko Industries(down 0.19%) and Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 0.13%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 53.2 points up at 17435.2, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 210.65 points at 58509.45 at around 10:24AM.

UltraTech Cement(up 2.66%), Grasim Industries(up 2.0%), Bharti Airtel(up 1.25%), ICICI Bank(up 1.25%), Shree Cement(up 1.12%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 1.05%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 0.96%), Divis Laboratories(up 0.95%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 0.93%) and Wipro(up 0.9%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Hindalco Industries(down 1.21%), Reliance Industries(down 1.16%), Hero MotoCorp(down 0.67%), Maruti Suzuki(down 0.65%), Cipla(down 0.56%), IndusInd Bank(down 0.5%), Britannia Industries(down 0.45%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.41%), Eicher Motors(down 0.33%) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 0.28%) were trading in the red.
