Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 5.23%), & Fertilizers(up 2.23%), Agro Phos(up 2.13%), KRISHANA(up 1.14%), Coromandel International(up 1.04%), & Chemicals(up 0.47%), Fertilizers(up 0.20%), ZUARIAGRO(up 0.15%) and Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 0.09%) stood among the top gainers.
& Petrochemicals(down 3.55%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 3.41%), Sikko Industries(down 2.50%), Madras Fertlizers(down 2.15%), G S F C(down 2.01%), Aries Agro(down 1.98%), National Fertilizer(down 1.46%), & Fertilizers(down 1.06%) and Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 0.79%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 15.5 points up at 17397.5, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 89.13 points at 58387.93.
UltraTech Cement(up 2.84%), Shree Cement(up 2.66%), ICICI Bank(up 2.19%), UPL Ltd(up 1.6%), Bharti Airtel(up 1.35%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.29%), Grasim Industries(up 1.2%), Infosys(up 1.05%), Wipro(up 1.03%) and Axis Bank(up 0.96%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Hindalco Industries(down 2.58%), Britannia Industries(down 2.3%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 2.05%), Eicher Motors(down 1.79%), Reliance Industries(down 1.47%), Maruti Suzuki(down 1.4%), IndusInd Bank(down 1.32%), Hero MotoCorp(down 1.29%), Cipla(down 0.99%) and SBI Life(down 0.95%) closed in the red.
