Hundreds of birds dies after drinking water polluted with pesticides in Rajnandgaon

A sensational case of the painful death of a large number of rare birds, parrots, sparrows, crows etc. has come to the fore due to drinking poisonous water in a village of Rajnandgaon district. On the information of the painful death of a large number of birds simultaneously, the team lof Forest Department and DFO Officers of Rajnandgaon reached the spot for a thorough investigation of the matter.It has been found in the investigation that excessive spraying of poisonous substances was done in the field of a farmer which was more than the standard rate. As soon as the thirsty birds drank the water from the field, they died a painful death. 52 birds were found dead. In this regard, trainee IFS said that the farmer had mixed the banned medicine with paddy in the field.
