Two-day Lahaul Tourism Festival at Jispa

Ram Lal Markanda, the Tribal Development Minister in Himachal unveiled the Lahaul Tourism Festival of two days, which is being organized by the Lahaul Eco-Tourism Society at Jispa.

The minister addressed a gathering at the site. He said that events like these play a vital role in upholding conventions and culture of the district. Tourists visiting the district can have a chance to get a glimpse of the folk culture, dance and food of Lahaul throughout the fair, said the minister.

The minister declared Rs. 1.50 lakh for the organizers of the event and applauded their decision to hold the ceremony at Jispa in the Lahaul valley for luring tourists.
