Face-off over National Flag: Big fight breaks out between BJP and Congress ahead of India’s 75th Independence Day

A fresh face-off over the Centre's 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign kicked off with Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's tweet calling RSS workers traitors. The BJP hit back quickly with MP Rakesh Sinha alleging that the Congress has installed portraits of Indira and Rajiv Gandhi with tricolour touching their feet. In view of India’s 75th Independence Day celebrations, PM Modi in his monthly radio address urged people to put the tricolour as their profile picture but what takes the centre stage is the brewing political slugfest over respect for Tiranga.
