Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 1.13% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:29AM(IST)on Thursday in an upbeat market.

Indiabulls Real Estate(up 2.32 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 1.01 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(up 0.44 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Macrotech Developers(down 6.32 per cent), Godrej Properties(down 1.09 per cent), Phoenix Mills(down 1.05 per cent), DLF(down 0.93 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(down 0.67 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was down 1.13 per cent at 436.6 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 37.1 points at 17425.25, while the BSE Sensex was up 111.73 points at 58462.26.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 34 were trading in the green, while 16 were in the red.

Shares of , Zomato Ltd., YES Bank, Tata Steel and were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of , , , . and Party Cruisers Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Birla Tyres, Melstar Info, , Karda Const and hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
