Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Thursday at 10:04AM

ZUARIAGRO(up 6.65%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 6.25%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 4.38%), National Fertilizer(up 3.98%), & Fertilizers(up 3.96%), & Fertilizers(up 3.94%), Madras Fertlizers(up 3.09%), Fertilizers (up 2.37%), & Petrochemicals(up 2.14%) and & Fertilizers(up 2.08%) were among the top gainers.

Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 1.14%) and Agro Phos(down 0.76%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 75.0 points up at 17463.15, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 243.18 points at 58593.71 at around 10:04AM.

Hindalco Industries(up 3.72%), Infosys(up 1.94%), Tech Mahindra(up 1.64%), Wipro(up 1.26%), Cipla(up 1.26%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 1.23%), Enterprises(up 1.22%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 1.2%), Eicher Motors(up 1.2%) and Larsen & Toubro(up 1.1%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 2.9%), NTPC(down 1.22%), State Bank of India(down 0.84%), Britannia Industries(down 0.52%), Reliance Industries(down 0.51%), Titan Company Ltd(down 0.5%), Coal India(down 0.33%), Bharti Airtel(down 0.25%) and SBI Life(down 0.16%) were trading in the red.
