Cop supplies drugs to prisoner, caught

Bathinda: Faridkot police have arrested an assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of Punjab Police on accusations of supplying 50 grams of a narcotic powder to an inmate of the Faridkot jail. The inmate, Vikram, had been taken from the prison to Moga courts in connection with a case hearing. When he was returning, Vikram was checked and 50 grams of the powder was found on him.
He named another inmate, Rawat, who said he got the drug from ASI Raj Singh. An investigation is underway. tnn
