Tata group enterprise Amalgamated Plantations (APPL), the country’s second-largest tea producer has launched its first tea lounge The Tea Cove in Guwahati.

The company plans to scale it up and add a couple of lounges. The company stated Tea Cove is a chronicle of the varied nuances that teas have to offer. With our century-long heritage and expertise in tea, we would like to present a unique Tea experience for guests”.

The company added, “Historically, our tea shop on GS Road has been a favourite with Guwahati. Tea connoisseurs from different parts of the city frequented the store to buy estate fresh teas along with estate fresh spices, honey, etc. Keeping the consumer demand in mind, we have given our store a makeover complete with a lounge space”.

It added, “ The lounge will also be offering of loose teas from our own estates and tea packs from our brands like Hathikuli, Teas From India and Majuli Mist Roasted.
