
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a negative note on Thursday.
Shares of Brigade Enterprises(up 1.75 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 1.39 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 1.06 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.21 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Macrotech Developers(down 6.12 per cent), Godrej Properties(down 2.41 per cent), DLF(down 1.24 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(down 1.16 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 1.14 per cent down at 436.55.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 6.15 points at 17382.0, while the BSE Sensex stood down 51.73 points at 58298.8.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 31 ended in the green, while 19 closed in the red.
Shares of Zomato Ltd., YES Bank, , Tata Steel and were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of , , , and hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while , Birla Tyres, Melstar Info, Debock Sales & Mktg and hit their fresh 52-week lows.
