
NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 101.0 points down at 58249.53 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Yogi Infra Proj(down 14.71 per cent), Citadel Realty(down 14.02 per cent), Satia Industries(down 10.73 per cent), K&R Rail Engineering(down 9.99 per cent) and Sky Gold(down 9.96 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 23 stocks traded in the green, while 27 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 24.55 points down at 17363.6.
On the BSE, and hit their fresh 52-week lows, while , , , and touched their fresh 52-week highs.
