MAGADHSUGAR(up 2.46%), Kothari Sugars & Chemicals(up 2.38%), EID Parry(up 2.24%), Ugar Sugar Works(up 2.12%), AVADHSUGAR(up 1.41%), Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals(up 1.34%), Sakthi Sugars(up 1.21%), K.M.Sugar Mills(up 0.85%), Dwarikesh Sugar Industries(up 0.76%) and DCM Shriram Industries(up 0.70%) were among the top gainers.
Ponni Sugars(Erode)(down 1.54%), & Industries(down 1.24%), BAJAJHIND(down 0.90%), Dalmia Bharat Sugar & Industries(down 0.70%), Uttam Sugar Mills(down 0.70%), Simbhaoli Sugars(down 0.49%), Dhampur Sugar Mills(down 0.39%), Rana Sugars(down 0.38%), Balrampur Chini Mills(down 0.30%) and Shree Renuka Sugars(down 0.10%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 39.0 points up at 17427.15, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 118.63 points at 58469.16 at around 11:00AM.
Hindalco Industries(up 3.85%), JSW Steel(up 2.86%), Tata Steel(up 2.06%), Infosys(up 1.87%), Cipla(up 1.71%), Divis Laboratories(up 1.42%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(up 1.4%), Nestle India(up 1.36%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 1.22%) and UltraTech Cement(up 1.1%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 2.12%), NTPC(down 1.94%), Coal India(down 1.13%), State Bank of India(down 1.06%), Reliance Industries(down 1.02%), Maruti Suzuki(down 0.73%), Bharti Airtel(down 0.57%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 0.41%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.4%) and SBI Life(down 0.28%) were trading in the red.
