MOIL(up 8.88%), Oriental Trimex(up 3.26%), KIOCL(up 2.56%), 20 Microns(up 0.80%), Orissa Minerals Development Company(up 0.59%) and Pokarna(up 0.11%) were among the top gainers.
Coal India(down 2.21%), Aro Granite Industries(down 1.30%), Dvpt Corporation(down 1.02%), NMDC Ltd(down 0.79%), Madhav Marbles and Granites(down 0.64%) and Ashapura Minechem(down 0.52%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 24.5 points down at 17320.95, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 35.44 points at 58100.92 at around 10:04AM.
Cipla(up 1.87%), Tech Mahindra(up 1.06%), HCL Technologies(up 0.88%), Infosys(up 0.72%), Enterprises(up 0.61%), Hindustan Unilever(up 0.48%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 0.44%), Bharti Airtel(up 0.44%), State Bank of India(up 0.41%) and JSW Steel(up 0.41%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Coal India(down 2.16%), Tata Motors(down 1.51%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 1.5%), ITC(down 1.32%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 1.28%), Maruti Suzuki(down 1.27%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 1.04%), Nestle India(down 0.84%), IndusInd Bank(down 0.74%) and HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.71%) were trading in the red.
