Pan-India star Prabhas attended the pre-release event of Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming film 'Sita Ramam' in Hyderabad on Wednesday (August 3). Prabhas, who was last seen playing a world-renowned palmist named Vikramaditya in 'Radhe Shyam,' graced the occasion as the chief guest for the evening.
The star actor arrived in style in Hyderabad for the 'Sita Ramam' pre-release event. The event was also attended by the team of the movie including Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur. The host requests the 'Saaho' actor to address the gathering and upon hearing that, fans instantly began hooting and cheering.

''The trailer looks extraordinary. Dulquer is one of the most handsome heroes in the country. He is a superstar. What a great film 'Mahanati' is. Everybody is praising Dulquer and Mrunal’s performances. I just want to watch the film. It’s not that easy to make a film with such passion and huge budget. It seems like along with the love story there will be a war sequence in the film. It’s just not a love story, and there are other elements in the movie. I saw Hanu Raghavapudi’s films. He is a beautiful director. The way he shows the film is like poetry. He is one of the most beautiful directors we have in the industry,'' Prabhas said.

''Since Sumanth has acted in this movie, there must be something special about his character, and I want to know what it is. We are lucky to have producers like Ashwini Dutta garu in Telugu. It’s a big deal to make films for the last fifty years, and he proved it. If I forgot anyone, I am sorry. Some movies should be watched only in theatres. 'Sita Rama' is one such film to be watched in theatres to get a cinematic experience. Even though we have a pooja room at home, we do not stop going temple right. Likewise, in our field of cinema, theatre is a temple. All this is because of you, you have given it. We should watch this film in theatres. Thank you. Love you,'' the Project K actor concluded.


After his grand speech, Prabhas paid Rs 100 and bought the first ticket of 'Sita Ramam'. The 'Salaar' actor said that he doesn’t carry a single penny in his pockets wherever he goes.



'Sita Ramam' which is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi will see Dulquer Salmaan play the role of Lieutenant Ram. The film is being bankrolled by Aswini Dutt under his home banners Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema. Rashmika Mandanna, Sumanth, Tharun Bhascker, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Bhumika Chawla, Vennela Kishore, Murali Sharma, Prakash Raj, Shatru, Jishhu Sengupta and Sachin Khedekar form the rest of the cast.
