Shutterstock.comNEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Wednesday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, MFL India(14.78%), Deccan GoldMine(11.57%), RPG Life Sci(11.07%), AMD Industries(10.92%) and Baba Arts(10.22%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 211.81 points down at 57924.55, while the 50-share Nifty index fell 79.0 points to 17266.45.
In the Nifty 50 index, 12 stocks traded in the green, while 38 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as , , , and hit their fresh 52-week high, while , , and touched their new 52-week low in trade.
