Cada to seek 50 crore for road repairs

Mysuru: Cauvery Command Area Development Authority chairman G Nijagunaraju informed that he will submit a proposal to the state government seeking Rs 50 crores for the repair of roads, and bridges which are damaged in the recent rain and flood.
Speaking to reporters, he stated that the authority will prepare the list of roads and bridges that require immediate attention. Due to the pandemic, the authority didn’t get enough funds in the last two years, he added.
“Cada has received Rs 10 crores funds now. Works will be take up at taluk level to ensure proper distribution of funds,” he said. TNN
