Gurugram: 8-year-old's body found in pit near Dwarka Expressway

GURUGRAM: The body of an eight-year old boy was recovered from a pit filled with water in Kherki Daula near Dwarka Expressway. According to police, the boy had stepped out of his home on Monday evening to play with his friends but didn't return.
Rishabh's parents informed the police, who then started searching for him. On Tuesday, his body was found floating in the pit. The boy is from Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh and had been staying with his parents in Rajendra Park area in the city.
After his body was found, a police team from Rajendra Park station and officials of the fire department immediately reached the spot. It took around three hours for them to fish the body out from the pit.
He might have slipped while trying to bathe in the pit and drowned, a police officer said. The police ruled out any foul play.
