Jaipur: A distinct QR code for different candidates who had appeared for REET-2022 examination proved handy in arresting a candidate who had torn off the pages of the examination paper of fourth shift and made it viral. This was revealed by the Jalore police a day after arresting the examinee for allegedly making some of the pages of the examination paper viral.
Senior police officers of Jalore on Tuesday stated that a team of Jalore police had arrested one Sarvar Khan (22), a candidate who had appeared in the fourth shift of the REET-2022 examination and had torn off some of the pages and made it viral. “Board of secondary education, Rajasthan that had organised the REET-2022 examination had given QR codes for different examination papers for the candidates appearing in different centres at different sessions,” said a senior officer of Jalore police on Tuesday.
