RANCHI: The district administration has decided to impose Crime Control Act on three notorious criminals of the district and issued an order for their detention in jail.
The criminals are Genda Singh, Rashid Ansari and Ali Khan - all lodged in the Birsa Munda Central jail.
Ranchi deputy commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha has ordered that the three criminals should be detained in jail for the next 12 months, a press statement was issued by the district administration in this regard. The DC said that there is possibility of disturbance of law and order if they come out.
The DC has issued the order based on the information made available by the police department, the administration said.
The criminals have the right to appeal to the home department against the administration’s order. TNN
