Rajkot: Female professor attempts suicide

RAJKOT: A female professor of a city-based college allegedly tried to take her own life following a bitter quarrel with her husband in the city on Monday night. Namrata Mehta, 34, was admitted to the Rajkot Civil Hospital, after she consumed some poisonous substance at her house in Balmukund Park. She was later shifted to a private hospital where her condition is said to be stable. Husband Vipul is a school principal in Jasdan and this is the couple’s second marriage. They have one child each from first marriage.
