Goa: Restaurants-bars, eateries to remain shut on polling, counting days

PANAJI: District magistrates have ordered all restaurants, bars, tea shops, pan shops, eateries and other food shops including kiosks in areas of village panchayat within 200m of the polling station and counting centres to remain closed on polling and counting days. Besides, gatherings are also banned wihtin 200m from the polling stations. The restrictions shall not apply to public servants on duty and to bonafide marriage or funeral processions or religious processions/functions.
