Hubballi: When I was CM, I strictly followed ‘Rajadharma’ and visited one and all’s houses, irrespective of caste and religion, but current CM Bommai is not following it, alleged leader of opposition in assembly Siddaramaiah. Speaking to reporters here at the airport, Siddaramaiah said Bommai has become CM of a particular community. “Is it fair to visit the victim’s house of a particular community being a CM? How can he sanction compensation only for one community while a person of other community is also murdered?” he said.
Terming the murders as failure of intelligence, Siddaramaiah said such failure has created anger among
BJP and Sangh workers themselves. “If BJP is in power, none will get protection. They are shameless rulers. We have pressed for their resignation,” he said. He hoped that if elections were declared now, Congress would get power. When asked about his name being heard for the CM post, he said Congress is a single party and it doesn’t have any factions. “We are all committed to the decision of the high command,” he said. tnn
