ACB traps head constable for graft

Mandya: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths trapped a police head constable while he was allegedly accepting a bribe in a cheque bounce case.
According to a press release issued by the ACB, a resident of Maddur town had moved to the court against a person over cheque bounce. The court had issued a warrant. To execute the warrant, Maddur town police station head constable Srikanth allegedly demanded Rs 2,000. The complainant approached the ACB. On Tuesday the ACB sleuths trapped Srikanth while he allegedly accepted Rs 1,500 outside the police station, the ACB stated.
