Getty ImagesNEW DELHI: Tata Motors(Rs. 2024.89 crore), RIL(Rs. 1855.20 crore), M&M(Rs. 1565.98 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 1359.22 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 950.40 crore), Maruti Suzuki(Rs. 907.15 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 890.65 crore), IDFC First Bank(Rs. 751.10 crore), Hindalco(Rs. 658.29 crore) and ICICI Bank(Rs. 655.98 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 181.8 points up at 17340.05, while BSE Sensex rose 545.25 points to 58115.5.
In the Nifty index, .(up 6.58 per cent), Mahindra & .(up 6.29 per cent), & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 4.92 per cent), UPL Ltd.(up 3.54 per cent) and .(up 3.17 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, .(down 2.60 per cent), .(down 1.70 per cent), .(down 1.68 per cent), .(down 1.15 per cent) and Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.95 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
