Varanasi: Footsteps-2022 organised after two years in Banaras Hindu University

VARANASI: After a halt for two years due to Covid-19, the Footsteps-2022- a co-curriculum activity was organised by Kalpvriksha, a club of the Institute of Management Studies Banaras Hindu University students in the institute premises on Saturday.
The event commenced with the induction of the students of 2022-24 batch in the management programme by the senior batch students.
Head of the institute Prof HP Mathur encouraged the students to participate in co-curricular activities and not limit themselves to the boundaries of academics only. He said, "The event not only provides the young management students a platform to showcase their talents and compete with students, but also gives them a glimpse of how to implement management lessons in the real world."
The club coordinator Dr Anindita Chakraborty briefed the students about the events and activities. More than 120 students participated in the treasure hunt across the BHU campus which was meant to familiarise the first-year students with the university environment. It was followed by other events to enable students display their creativity and marketing skills.
The event concluded with prize distribution among winners by director of the institute prof SK Dubey.
