Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Monday at 10:50AM

KRISHANA(up 8.43%), & Fertilizers(up 5.39%), & Petrochemicals(up 4.99%), Agro Phos(up 4.92%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 4.47%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 3.68%), Aries Agro(up 3.02%), ZUARIAGRO(up 1.83%), Fertilizers (up 1.41%) and & Chemicals(up 1.40%) were among the top gainers.

Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 2.16%), & Fertilizers(down 1.88%) and Sikko Industries(down 1.14%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 120.95 points up at 17279.2, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 381.34 points at 57951.59 at around 10:50AM.

Mahindra & Mahindra(up 6.26%), Tata Motors(up 3.94%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 3.2%), Cipla(up 3.13%), Hindalco Industries(up 2.67%), Maruti Suzuki(up 2.38%), Reliance Industries(up 2.22%), Bharti Airtel(up 1.75%), UPL Ltd(up 1.65%) and Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.5%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 2.59%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 1.08%), Britannia Industries(down 1.04%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.86%), IndusInd Bank(down 0.81%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 0.7%), Coal India(down 0.36%), NTPC(down 0.33%), Bajaj Finserv(down 0.28%) and Nestle India(down 0.25%) were trading in the red.
