Varun Beverages(up 3.64%), Dodla Dairy(up 2.83%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories(up 2.56%), Parag Milk(up 2.52%), Zydus Wellness(up 2.29%), Mrs Bectors Food Specialities(up 2.11%), Prataap Snacks(up 2.08%), Jyothy Labs(up 2.07%), Bajaj Consumer(up 1.63%) and Dangee Dums(up 1.54%) were among the top gainers.
Nakoda Group(down 4.98%), DFM Foods(down 1.78%), Emami(down 1.67%), Britannia Industries(down 1.16%), Hindustan Unilever(down 1.02%), Heritage Foods(down 0.98%), Dabur India(down 0.85%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 0.78%), Euro India Fresh Foods(down 0.72%) and Colgate Palmolive(India)(down 0.63%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 114.75 points up at 17273.0, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 370.14 points at 57940.39 at around 10:55AM.
Mahindra & Mahindra(up 6.29%), Tata Motors(up 3.98%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 3.31%), Cipla(up 2.68%), Hindalco Industries(up 2.67%), Reliance Industries(up 2.18%), Maruti Suzuki(up 2.07%), UPL Ltd(up 1.77%), Bharti Airtel(up 1.7%) and Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.43%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 2.72%), Britannia Industries(down 1.15%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 1.1%), Hindustan Unilever(down 1.08%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 0.78%), IndusInd Bank(down 0.72%), NTPC(down 0.42%), Nestle India(down 0.38%), Grasim Industries(down 0.36%) and Coal India(down 0.33%) were trading in the red.
