Getty ImagesNEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 344.71 points up at 57914.96 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Ltd.(down 16.22 per cent), Aarnav Fashions(down 13.24 per cent), SSPN Finance L(down 9.94 per cent), PAE Ltd(down 8.89 per cent) and Bhageria Industries(down 8.83 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 38 stocks traded in the green, while 12 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 114.25 points up at 17272.5.
On the BSE, , and hit their fresh 52-week lows, while , , , Rajratan Global and touched their fresh 52-week highs.
