CAT 2022 notification released @iimcat.ac.in, registration starts August 3

The Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) has released the Common Admission Test, CAT 2022 notification. The CAT 2022 registration process will open on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 and will close on Wednesday, September 14, 2022.

The Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) has released the Common Admission Test, CAT 2022 notification on the official website - iimcat.ac.in. The CAT 2022 registration process will open on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 10:00 am and will close on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 5:00 pm. The CAT details were awaited since long and many students across the country were eagerly waiting for the CAT notification 2022.

According to the CAT 2022 notification, the management entrance test will be conducted on November 27, 2022 in three sessions in test centres spread across around 150 cities. Candidates will be given the option to choose six optional cities. CAT Centre will try its best to ensure that candidates get one of their preferred options. In case of high demand in a particular region, CAT Centre reserves the right to allot a centre close to the any of the preferred options. Once a centre is allotted to a candidate, no change will be permitted.

The official notification also states that the CAT Admit Card will be released on October 27, 2022. The Common Admission Test will be held with the exam duration of 120 minutes.

What is CAT 2022 registration fee?

The registration fee is Rs 1150 for SC, ST and PwD category candidates and Rs 2300 for all other categories of candidates.


What is CAT eligibility criteria?

The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 50 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA an [45% in case of candidates belonging to the SC, ST and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories.], granted by any University or educational institution as incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State legislature in India or declared to be deemed as an University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956.
