The authorities will announce the KCET counselling 2022 date soon on the official website. Candidates declared passed under KCET Result 2022 will be eligible for the process of counselling. However, it is to be noted that the KCET 2022 seat allotment will be done on the basis of KCET merit, preferences and availability of seats.

The authorities have shared the number of candidates appeared for Karnataka UGCET exam 2022. As per the statistics, a total of 210829 students appeared for KCET exam this year. These students are eagerly waiting for their results.

5% of the seats in each college and in each course are reserved as Supernumerary Quota (SNQ) in all Engineering Colleges. This quota is over and above the seat matrix issued by the Government. The tuition fee prescribed by the Government in that particular college will be waived off. The candidate has to pay University / other fees only.

This Supernumerary quota is not available in for Architecture Course. All poor and meritorious candidates including General Merit are eligible for allotment of seats under the Supernumerary quota (Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme) whose annual income of the family from all the sources is less than Rs.8.00 Lakhs.

The Karnataka Government has enhanced the annual income limit from Rs 6.00 Lakhs to Rs 8.0 lakhs per annum for claiming reservation benefit. The candidate and his/ her father’s - mother’s who’s Gross Annual Income is below Rs.8.00 lakhs are eligible to claim benefit of reservation.

KEA will reserve the right to withdraw any such admission made at any point of time which is not fulfilling the eligibility criteria/regulations fixed by the Competent Authority from time to time.
