Gurugram: 15-year-old jumps to death from seventh floor

Gurugram: A 15-year-old boy jumped to his death from the seventh floor of a residential society in Sector 45 on Friday. No suicide note was found. Police said that the family has not filed any complaint as they do not suspect foul play.
The boy was studying in Class 10 in a private school located in Gurugram
He was living with his parents in a group housing society in sector 45 and studying in a popular school close to the housing society.
On Friday morning, the minor left his house for school like all other days. But instead of going to school, the boy jumped from the stairs of the seventh floor.
Hearing a loud thud, the security guard of the society reached the spot and alerted the family. The boy was taken to a nearby private hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The reason behind the suicide is not clear and no case has been registered.
The body was handed over to the family after a postmortem, an officer said.
