Suspended TMC Rajya Sabha MPs on July 28 in self-made videos refused to apologise for the revocation of their suspension. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi on July 27 said that the suspension of the MPs can only be revoked if they apologise. In a self-made video, TMC MP Shanta Chettri said, “We will not apologise as we haven't done anything wrong. We have raised the issue of common people. The country is suffering from price rise and raising that issue is not wrong.” Similarly, in another self-made video, TMC MP Mausam Noor refused to apologise and said, “There is no question of apologizing. We want to have discussions on the price rise in Parliament but we were suspended. Our 50-hour long protest will continue outside.”
