Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 9.81 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 5.91 crore), Tata Steel(number of shares traded: 4.76 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 3.50 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 3.43 crore), Tata Motors(number of shares traded: 1.62 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 1.47 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 1.41 crore), SAIL(number of shares traded: 1.27 crore) and Karda Const(number of shares traded: 1.24 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:29AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 207.45 points up at 16849.25, while BSE Sensex was up 765.15 points at 56581.47 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, .(up 9.23 per cent), .(up 7.77 per cent), .(up 3.05 per cent), .(up 2.10 per cent) and .(up 2.10 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.01 per cent), .(down 0.82 per cent), .(down 0.44 per cent), .(down 0.32 per cent) and ITC Ltd.(down 0.10 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
