As per the information given by Union Minister of Electronics & Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Central government on Wednesday approved the revival of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and the merger of Bharat Broadband Network (BBNL) with BSNL.
"Union Cabinet approves the Rs 1.64 lakh crore revival package for BSNL," said the Union Minister.
The government will make administrative allocation of spectrum to BSNL to help it expand 4G service, Vasihnaw informed.
