Mausam Noor on suspension of 19 RS MPs:Govt not ready for discussion

19 Rajya Sabha MPs were suspended from the Parliament for a week on July 26 after they continued protesting in the house over inflation and price rise issues. Out of the 19, 7 are TMC lawmakers. TMC MP Mausam Noor who was suspended hit back at the government over her suspension. She said, “This is very unfortunate, we only wanted to have discussions on inflation. Govt does not want to have discussions and this is the reason we have been suspended. We were demanding a discussion under rule 267 and were suspended. We will protest outside the Parliament.
